You can transport anything by bike!
@Cmdr_Hadfield took this night-time photo of Montreal from the International Space station.
Spring came into view during this morning’s run
Kale sautéed in chipotle olive oil and topped with cheezzy nutritional yeast, with a side of baked sweet potato fries, and homemade ketchup for dipping. Yum. #vegan
I was asked why I’m so excited about riding in Spring…
What do I love? The crisp air, the wind on my face, the feeling of flying through the city, waving at all the other cyclists who, like me, are smiling ear to ear - I even love the cold streaming nose and the numb fingers and toes. It’s just so good to be in the saddle again after plodding through snow, slip sliding across ice, or, on the worst of days, swaying on the bus while people sniffle and cough and try not to make eye contact. My bike equals freedom! I always say I’m going to move where I can ride year-round, but in Spring, I’m so glad I’m here because there is nothing so exhilarating as that first ride in Spring.
